ANN ARBOR (WKZO) — The president of Sigma Alpha Mu at the University of Michigan is promising to make amends for ski resort damages caused by fraternity members.
University Public Affairs Director Rick Fitzgerald said the school is investigating what happened last weekend at Treetops Resorts in Gaylord. The Treetops general manager estimates cleanup costs of at least 50-thousand dollars for broken doors, holes in walls and the ceiling, and other destruction.
Two other fraternities are also accused of causing damage to units at Boyne Highlands Resort in Harbor Springs.
