DETROIT (WKZO) — Hockey legend Gordie Howe is reportedly recovering so well after stem cell therapy that he’ll be attending a fundraiser in Saskatoon.
Howe had a massive stroke in late October and several other health scares in the following months. For a time he was unable to speak or walk. Now, his son says, Mr. Hockey can walk about a half mile, feed himself and fold laundry.
On Friday he is scheduled to attend an event in Saskatoon to raise money for dementia research.
