LANSING (WKZO) — The Commercial Enforcement Division of the Michigan State Police is teaming up with the organization Truckers Against Trafficking to use semi truck drivers as eyes and ears in the battle against human trafficking.
Awareness training for human trafficking will be given to all MSP motor carrier officers, and 17-thousand TAT wallet cards and other materials will be distributed to truck drivers and travel plaza managers. Truckers Against Trafficking posters will also be placed in all rest areas and welcome centers in Michigan.
