LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The Coalition to Keep Michigan Warm stages its annual rally on the state Capitol steps tomorrow at 12 Noon. Organizers say that this, along with an online “All-Parties” letter campaign, is part of their “Legislative Day” aimed at getting state lawmakers to pressure Congress for allocating at least 4.7 billion dollars into the federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program during Fiscal 2016. The initiative has received the endorsement of the state’s Democratic Party Congressional delegation.
