LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Hopeful of tying up a loose end from before she came to Lansing, freshman House Republican Daniela Garcia of Holland introduced legislation on Thursday that would establish a SmartZone technology business incentive program for the Holland/Zeeland area. It would be one of six satellites of current SmartZone bases statewide. Efforts to expand this initiative to the Lakeshore before the Lame Duck session of the Legislature adjourned in December failed due to last-minute administrative snafus.
