LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Responding to a MIRS News report, Governor Snyder’s spokeswoman Sara Wurfel said that the pending move of the state Senate business offices to the Capital View Building from the Farnum Building for 68 million dollars didn’t need or didn’t get the endorsement of the Chief Executive. The Michigan Strategic Fund has already issued bonds to finance the project, which will be completed sometime in 2016. Democrats have asked for a halt to the move, citing budgetary concerns.
