LANSING, MI (WHTC) – MIRS News reports that legislative efforts to include police officers and firefighters in Michigan’s Right to Work laws may not go far. House Representative Gary Glenn of Midland, known more as the American Family Association President before being elected to Lansing last fall, is sponsoring the bill.
Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof of West Olive, who helped push the Freedom to Work Act though a lame duck session two years ago, wants to see the impact of the current law before expanding it.
