LANSING, MI (WHTC) – MIRS News is reporting that Governor Snyder is open to the possibility of creating toll roads in Michigan if Washington allows it. A roundtable discussion in Detroit held with White House Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx brought up the issue, as past policy was to prohibit such levies on highways built with federal funds. Creating toll roads has been seen as an alternative for generating funding for infrastructure repairs if Proposal 1 is rejected by voters on May 5th.
