GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – M-Live is reporting that the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department has been sued in federal court for having a deputy allegedly beat a jail inmate, leaving the victim untreated for several hours, and not prosecuting the deputy after an outside investigation had requested charges.
The attorney for Aaron Henderson, who had been arrested on a disorderly conduct count, submitted a video purportedly showing the February 14th incident at the old Hubbard Street lockup. The department is not commenting on the litigation.
