LANSING, MI (WHTC) – State Supreme Court judges’ pay could rise, which would trigger wage hikes for jurists across Michigan. State Officers Compensation Commission Chairman Larry Meyer told MIRS News that he would recommend a yet-to-be-determined increase when his panel meets next Wednesday. Annual pay for Supreme Court justices has been frozen at just over 164 thousand dollars since 2001, and wages for lower-court judges in Michigan are based on the high court’s scale.
