LANSING, MI (WHTC) – After state House Speaker Kevin Cotter unveiled his caucus’ road plan yesterday, Senate Majority Floor Leader Mike Kowall told reporters that his chamber’s caucus would bring out its proposals “sometime in the next few weeks.” The White Lake lawmaker said that his group wanted to take a “measured approach” to the situation. Kowall already has committed the Senate to 30 session days over the summer for roads, while Cotter will only say that he’s “open” to the House following suit.
