LANSING, MI (WTVB) – In separate forecasts, the fiscal agencies for the Michigan House and Senate say that lawmakers will have between $67.7 million and $189.4 million extra to work with in this budget year, and between $58.6 million and $79.6 million for Fiscal 2016.
Ahead of Friday’s quarterly Consensus Revenue Estimating Conference, the two agencies forecast employment growth between 1.5% and 2.4% for the rest of this year, and between .9% and 1.2% percent for the 12-month period that begins on October 1, 2015.
