SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – Efforts to restore the South Haven lighthouse continue. Officials of the Historical Association of South Haven, the organization that owns the century-old structure, say that a third of the 300 thousand-dollar fundraising goal has been reached through a low-profile campaign that began in late February. A more aggressive effort is now underway, highlighted by a first-ever “Lighthouse Sit” on August 7th, which is National Lighthouse Day. More information is here.
