LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Michigan lawmakers return to work in earnest tomorrow after last week’s Mackinac Policy Conference. Topping their agenda is finalizing the Fiscal 2016 state budget, with most spending plans already forwarded to the House and Senate floors. Legislative leaders want a final approved proposal on the Governor’s desk this week.
Other issues that could surface is no-fault insurance reform, which is currently in a House committee after clearing the Senate, and plans for increased road repairs.
