CASSOPOLIS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A rollover crash sent two people to the hospital in Cass County.
It happened Friday evening around 9:40 on Rudy Road near George Street in Wayne Township.
Cass County Deputies say the driver of the car, a 20-year-old female from Dowagiac, was headed northbound on Rudy Road when she lost control of the vehicle. The car went off the road, overturned, and came to rest against some trees.
The driver and the passenger, a 19-year-old female from South Bend IN, were able to get out of the car, and were transported to Elkhart General Hospital.
Authorities believe that alcohol and drugs were not a factor, and say that both the driver and passenger were wearing their seatbelts.
