LANSING, MI (WHTC) – During the Small Business Association of Michigan’s Annual Meeting and Networking Luncheon, Consumers Energy and DTE Energy officials said that each utility will contribute five billion dollars over the next five years into the Pure Michigan Business Connect Program. The four-year-old initiative connects suppliers with in-state business resources, and the two utilities have exceeded their initial targets of a billion dollars each in new contracts through the program since 2011.
