LANSING, MI (WHTC) – An annual survey commissioned by the state Economic Development Corporation showed Michigan’s regulatory and business climates are improving. The third such canvass of customers to the departments of Environmental Quality, Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and Treasury showed an overall increase in advocacy, business and regulatory climate perception, and trust in state regulatory agencies. The three departments oversee about two thirds of state regulatory rules.
