LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Ahead of next weekend’s Independence Day holiday celebrations, the state department of Health of Human Services has issued a warning about too much booze. Chief Medical Executive Dr. Eden Wells said in a statement that “it’s important for all residents to understand the health consequences of excessive alcohol use.” According to the MDHHS, overindulgence in liquor annually costs the state 8.2 billion dollars and more than 84 thousand years of potential life lost.
