TEKONSHA, MI (WHTC) – No injuries were reported and no substantial damage spotted as a 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck Calhoun County before 12 Noon. The US Geological Survey said that the center of the trembler was about six miles northwest of Union City, with those in Kalamazoo and Battle Creek feeling some of its effects. On May 2nd, a 4.2-magnitude quake hit the Galesburg area in the same fault that caused a 1947 trembler; today’s incident was about 20 miles away from there.
