LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The state Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs has issued a warning to state-based corporations and limited liability companies, cautioning about a mail-based scam from a purported non-governmental entity. “Division of Corporate Services” is asking for a 150-dollar fee for preparing corporate meeting minutes, claiming that the state requires the completion of a 2015 Annual Minutes Form with its help. An investigation is underway; no arrests have yet been made.
