LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Michigan State Police officials echo sentiments on a federal level in cautioning residents to be alert for suspicious behavior or activity over the Independence Day holiday weekend. State Police Director and State Director of Emergency Management/Homeland Security Kristie Kibbie Etue said that there are no known threats to this state right now, but recent terrorism-related incidents abroad “serve as reminders of the need to remain vigilant at all times.” Call 9-1-1 if something suspicious comes up.
