LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Although the state Legislature is off this week, House Speaker Kevin Cotter and Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof met with Governor Snyder in Lansing yesterday afternoon. MIRS News reports that the 45-minute session was to discuss differences in the separate road funding plans each chamber had passed last month, but none of the participants discussed any details with the News Service. Minority Democratic leaders Jim Ananich and Tim Grimel were not invited to this meeting.
