LANSING, MI (WHTC) – A Mitchell Research and Communications poll of 600 voters taken earlier this month showed Governor Snyder’s approval rating at a “strong” 58 percent. The survey conducted for MIRS News was the first since the May defeat of Proposal 1 that Mr. Snyder had championed heavily for. It showed that the Governor had the support of 78 percent of Republicans, 62 percent of non-labor households, and 60 percent of male respondents. The poll was part of a non-related canvas for a health plan convention.
