MDOT’s #2 Man Leaving for Maryland

LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Michigan Department of Transportation is leaving. On September 16^th, Greg Johnson will become the State Highway Administrator for the Maryland Department of Transportation. The U-M and WMU graduate has advocated for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises nationwide, among other achievements during his 25 years in the department that began in the Kalamazoo area. A search for Johnson’s replacement as MDOT’s number two man is underway.
