EAST LANSING, MI (WHTC) – According to Michigan State University’s quarterly State of the State Survey, 60 percent of 966 respondents rated their financial situation as good or excellent, the highest level in 13 years, and 69 percent believe that they’ll be better off a year from now. Governor Snyder’s approval rating did fall slightly from 38 percent to 36 percent, with Survey Director Charles Ballard attributing that to the timing of the poll, which was during the failed Proposal 1 ballot effort that Mr. Snyder championed.
