LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The State Board of Canvassers has approved ballot language for hiking Michigan’s Corporate Income Tax from 6% to 11%, which allows the union-backed Citizens for Fair Taxes to begin circulating petitions for putting this initiative before voters in November of 2016.
Wording for allowing voting by mail and for mandatory sick leave was also OK’d by the BOC, so petitions for those ballot measures will also be circulated shortly.
