SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A number of community leaders come down from South Haven’s lighthouse at dusk after an all-day sit, looking to complete a 300 thousand-dollar fundraising effort for needed repairs and restorations. Two-thirds of that amount had already been raised prior to this event. South Haven Historical Association members are on hand to explain the project and accept pledges. Among the “sitters” are South Haven Superintendent Robert Herrara and Assistant City Manager Paul Vandenbosch.
