GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – The third annual Michigan Rail Conference concludes two days of activities in Grand Rapids today, centering on seminars and presentations in GVSU’s Eberhard Center. Michigan Department of Transportation staffers, along with representatives from Michigan Tech and the railroad industry discussed issues such as transportation implications, railroad crossing safety, passenger rail trends and connectivity, including a proposed Holland-to-Detroit passenger line, and rail shipper projections.
