LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The four leaders of the state Legislature – Arlan Meekhof and Jim Ananich of the Senate, along with Kevin Cotter and Tim Greimel of the House – are slated to huddle with Governor Snyder’s staff next week, looking to solve a road funding impasse. A 1.2 billion-dollar compromise agreement collapsed this week when the Administration reportedly wanted assurances on non-road budget issues that would have been impacted by the plan. The House is on a two-week break until after Labor Day, while Governor Snyder has left for an eight-day trade mission to China.
