GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County Circuit Court Judge Jon Hulsing has dismissed a lawsuit against the City of Grand Haven asking that a cross be reinstalled on Dewey Hill. Seven citizens calling themselves Citizens of Grand Haven had filed the litigation, claiming that constitutional free speech and freedom of religion rights were violated when the City Council in January voted to take down the cross on threat of legal action against the city by Americans United for Separation of Church of State.
