LANSING, MI (WHTC) – As the US Senate gets close to having enough votes so the President’s treaty with Iran can’t be blocked next month, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette has joined with his colleague from Oklahoma, Scott Pruitt, in issuing an open letter that asks each state to impose economic sanctions on Tehran. The two Republicans say that 25 states have already enacted bans on government investment with Iran, and admit that the Obama Administration considers this letter “interference.”
