HART, MI (WHTC) – The Chicagoland man accused of ramming a truck into the gates of the Grand Haven Coast Guard base and assaulting personnel will not face separate Oceana County arson charges. State examiners concluded that Matthew Krueger was not mentally responsible for torching Golden Township a residence that he had been staying at prior to the February 8 incident. A similar conclusion was made last month in the Coast Guard case. Krueger is currently in a state forensic center for treatment, with fresh evaluations every 90 days.
