LANSING, MI (WHTC) – State House Democrat Jeremy Moss says that he will, when the Lower Chamber returns from its summer break next week, push for legislation that would subject the Legislature and the Governor’s office to Michigan’s Freedom of Information Act. This comes in the wake of rejections by House leadership of the full House Business Office report into the dealings of Cindy Gamrat of Plainwell and Todd Courser of Lapeer. The bill was introduced in March by Brandon Dillon, who left the Legislature in June to become the state Democratic Party chairman. Moss is a co-sponsor of this legislation.
