LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Chris Priest, a one-time staffer in both the Granholm and Snyder gubernatorial administrations, was tapped by state Health and Human Services Director Nick Lyon to take over the Medical Services Administration. Effective October 12th, Priest will oversee Michigan’s Medicaid program, which includes MIChild and Healthy Michigan. Kathy Stiffler, the interim MSA chief following the June retirement of Steve Fitton, returns to her former role as an agency bureau director.
