ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions picked up the fifth-year option on center Frank Ragnow but general manager Brad Holmes is working on a more long-term deal.
Detroit now has Ragnow under contract until 2022 but the Lions have made signing Ragnow to a long-term deal a priority. As a first-round draft pick in 2018, Ragnow has grown into one of the league’s best players at his position.
In 2020 he did not allow a sack and committed a career-low two penalties, more than halving his total from the previous two seasons.
