PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Portage police are investigating the second incident this week involving gunshots being fired at a home, and believe the two are related.
On Thursday morning, officers responded to a residence in the 1400 block of E. Kilgore Rd at around 7:40. Witnesses saw a dark blue or black 4-door sedan in the area and say at least nine gunshots were heard. Many of them struck the home, but there were no injuries. The car quickly fled the scene.
Investigations have led authorities to believe that this incident is likely related to one in the 300 block of Colonial Ave., just a few miles away, that happened on Wednesday.
