KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Traffic in downtown Kalamazoo was backed up for over an hour Tuesday morning after an accident that left a vehicle upside down.
Police say an SUV ran a red light at the intersection of Michigan Ave. and Park St. at around 10:30 a.m.. The vehicle struck a BMW and ended up rolling over.
No injuries were reported and the driver of the SUV was ticketed for ignoring the traffic signal.
