ROSEMONT, ILLINOIS (WKZO AM/FM) –The number-two ranked Spartans scored a victory to be remembered, coming back from a 27-point deficit at Allstate Arena to beat Northwestern 65 to 60 Saturday.
The Wildcats had a 22 point lead at halftime. We don’t know what Coach Izzo told the team during the break but they came out in the second half and pulled off a 29 to 4 run that gave them the lead for good.
It was the tenth win in a row for Michigan State, who are now 14-2 in conference play, and hold a half game lead over Ohio State.
