PRAIRIEVILLE TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Authorities in Barry County say a driver who crashed their car into a tree Sunday night has died from their injuries.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene on Lockshore Rd. near W. Hickory Rd. in Prairieville Township at around 7:00 p.m.. Investigations showed the vehicle was traveling northbound when it left the roadway and collided with a tree. The 26-year-old female driver, who was the lone occupant in the vehicle, was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Deputies still aren’t sure what caused her to veer off the road and the crash remains under investigation.
