UNDATED (WTVB) – Former Detroit Lions and Michigan State wide receiver Charles Rogers is dead at the age of 38.
Rogers played for the Spartans in 2001 and 2002 and holds the school’s record for touchdown catches with 27. He was selected with the number-two overall pick by the Lions in the 2003 NFL Draft.
The Saginaw-native had 440 yards receiving and four touchdowns in 15 games in three seasons with Detroit.
