INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WKZO AM/FM) – One-seed University of Michigan and 11-seed UCLA tip-off for a spot in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Final Four tonight.
The Wolverines beat 16-seed Texas Southern, eight-seed LSU and three-seed Florida State in the tournament. The Bruins topped fellow 11-seed Michigan State in a play-in game, then had wins over six-seed BYU, 14-seed Abilene Christian and two-seed Alabama.
Also tonight, top-seed Gonzaga takes on six-seed USC.
Two teams are punching their ticket to the Final Four. Second-seed Houston eliminated 12-seed Oregon State 67-61 to book its first trip to the Final Four since 1984. Top-seed Baylor fended off three-seed Arkansas 81-72. The Bears are going to the Final Four for the first time since 1950.
