KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Police recovered a stolen firearm during a traffic stop in Kalamazoo early Saturday morning.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. when officers pulled over a 41-year-old Kalamazoo resident in the 700 block of East Vine for a traffic violation. During the course of the traffic stop, officers located a firearm which they later determined to be stolen.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested on multiple felony warrants, along with a 30-year-old passenger and Kalamazoo resident, who was arrested for multiple felony weapons offenses.
