HASTINGS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An armed man is now in custody after a police standoff that lasted several hours in Barry County.
32-year-old Terry Rose was arraigned yesterday on multiple counts, including charges of criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, assault, and weapons charges.
Hastings Police were called to a home in the 700 block on Hanover Street near East Blair Street just after 10 p.m. Tuesday after a woman told officers she was assaulted by Rose, who had a weapon. Just before 5 a.m. Rose exited the house and was taken into custody.
He was booked into the Barry County Jail and his bond is set at $500,000.
