KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Authorities say Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers were called out to a multi-vehicle fire at Kalamazoo Metal Recycling Incorporated on Kings Higway.
Once on scene, responders confirmed that four buses that were housed at the junkyard were on fire.
An official at the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety lieutenant’s office said that heavy equipment was needed to fight the blaze.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
