KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian near the Westwood Neighborhood.
It happened just before 8 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Drake Road and Stonebrooke Street.
When first responders arrived they located the victim, an 18-year-old Kalamazoo man, and he was taken to Bronson Methodist where he was last listed in stable condition.
Witnesses believe the suspect who fled the scene was driving a dark-colored pickup truck that may have some front-end damage.
