OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — UPDATE: The suspect arrested in connection with an Oshtemo Township shooting has been identified.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office has submitted criminal charges against Jennifer Coelho, who police arrested in a shooting at 5555 Coddington Ln. on Monday, January 20.
Coelho will now be facing charges of attempted murder, felonious assault and felony firearm.
Police have also identified the victim in the shooting as Robert Robinson, who remains hospitalized at this time.
Coelho is currently lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail. Her bond is set at $500,000.

One woman has been arrested after deputies responded to a shooting at a Kalamazoo County apartment complex.
The incident happened around 10 a.m. at an apartment building near Coddington Lane off of 11th Street south of W KL Avenue in Oshtemo Township.
It’s unclear what led to the shooting, but a female suspect was arrested by officers when they arrived at the scene after a quick pursuit by a police K-9.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says that a man was also taken to the hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.
