KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A boil water advisory is in place for some residents in Kalamazoo’s Milwood Neighborhood.
On Tuesday afternoon city officials announced that they are working to repair a water main break on Lakeway Avenue which prompted the precautionary advisory.
This affects homeowners on Lakeway Avenue from Ferndale Avenue to Portage Street on both sides of the street, but it does not include the northwest corner of Lakeway Avenue and Portage Street.
Municipal water customers in the affected area should use bottled water or boil their tap water for two minutes before drinking.
