KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A reported gas leak at Western Michigan University’s campus led to an advisory being sent out to those in the area.
The gas leak was reported on the afternoon of Friday, January 24th near the intersection of Arcadia Loop and Moore Drive on WMU’s main campus where construction work was taking place. According to the university, Consumers Energy has been notified and is responding to the incident.
The alert sent out by WMU advises the public to avoid the area until the leak is addressed.
