CALVIN TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A woman is in the Cass County Jail after she refused to cooperate with authorities while inside a stolen RV.
Deputies were called to an area of Osborn Street near Eagle Point Road in Calvin Township around 6 p.m. Sunday where they found a suspicious RV stuck in the field, but when they tried to contact the occupant, the woman refused to open the door.
Authorities later learned that the RV was stolen from a manufacturers lot in Middlebury Indiana.
After about four hours, deputies were able to obtain a key to the front door, and take the woman into custody.
Dowagiac Police, Edwardsburg Police, and Life Care Ambulance assisted in this incident. No other details have been released at this time.
