KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Some attending Kalamazoo’s annual Borgess Run Camp on Saturday got a rather unpleasant surprise.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety reports that multiple cars were broken into while runners were attending the event at the Ascension Borgess Health and Fitness Center on Gull Road.
The break-ins took place from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. were the thieves broke windows, took purses, credit cards, jewelry, and other personal items.
Police say around seven victims had their cars broken into.
